Gaining Access to Download the Linux VPN Client
To gain access to download and use the VPN client for Linux, you must submit a SerVU incident. You can also contact your local IT support provider to have a SerVU ticket submitted to request your VUnetID be added to the VUIT_Network_Connect_Linux AD group.
To submit a SerVU incident, go to: https://vanderbilt.cherwellondemand.com/CherwellClient/Access and open a new incident. For the service choose Security, for Category choose Identity and Access Management, and for Subcategory choose VPN Request.
The following Linux platforms are supported:
- Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 32 bit, 64 bit
- Ubuntu 15.04 32 bit, 64 bit
- Ubuntu 14.04 LTS32 bit, 64 bit
- CentOS 6.4 32 bit, 64 bit
- CentOS7 32bit, 64bit
- Fedora 23 32 bit, 64 bit
- RHEL7 32 bit, 64 bit
- Debian 8 (compatible)
