Active Directory Domain Services
Identity Operation Services supports an enterprise active directory service, which applications can use to authenticate users who present their VUnetID and ePassword. This directory service is a highly available redundant service that is integrated with the centralized identity management service. Active Directory service points and nodes are located in several areas to support both campus and medical center applications.
The Vanderbilt Active Directory Domain Services can be accessed by its NetBIOS name of ‘Vanderbilt’ or by its UNC of ds.vanderbilt.edu
How to get it:
The Active Directory Domain Service is an authentication service that is available to the Vanderbilt community. See your LAN Manager for more information. You can request authentication access on the authentication website.
