Web Meeting Services

Web Meeting is a service that allows you to conduct web conferences anytime, day or night, without ever having to make a reservation. Web conferences allow you to present and collaborate with virtually any software application on your PC, in real-time over the Internet. And anyone can view or participate from just about anywhere, because only a standard browser and web connection are needed. (Click on the following links to learn more about Web Meeting or see a Web Meeting demo.)

AT&T's Web Meeting Service is powered by WebEx, and is easy to use. Just download the appropriate browser plug-in following these steps:

  1. Go to: http://webmeeting.att.com.
  2. Click on the Help Icon.
  3. Click Downloads under WebMeeting 7.0.
  4. Select the appropriate Meeting Manager for your browser.
  5. After the plug-in has been downloaded you are ready to attend a web meeting.

To conduct web meetings, you need a host account. A host account provides you with your own personal dial-in number and access code for use with AT&T's reservationless audio teleconference and web meeting service.  Charges are $.07 per minute/per user for audio, and $.13 per minute/per user for web meeting. A V-Net long distance code is required to set up a host account, and charges appear on your monthly ledger. To apply for an account, call an AT&T Telconference Specialist at 1-800-526-2655.

If you have questions or problems downloading the plug-in or using Web Meeting, call the AT&T Web MeetingHelp Desk at 888-793.6118. Someone is available to answer your call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
