VUMC Exchange: Install EAS Archiving Software for Outlook

To allow Outlook client users to archive mail using EAS Archiving, a small client side piece of software must be installed on the client. To run the silent install of the EAS software, please perform the following steps.

Step 1 Exit from Outlook.

Step 2 Click the following link to install the Archive client software. Archive Client

After a couple of seconds, you will see the following icon in your system tray located in the lower right-hand corner of your PC’s desktop.

Step 3 Restart Outlook and you will see the following EAS icons on the Outlook tool bar. .

Step 4 The installation is complete.
