Preferred Outlook Anywhere 2007 configuration settings

Cached Exchange
  • Laptops (Always on a Network Connection) = Non-Cached
  • Laptops (Used without a Network Connection) = Cached*
  • Desktop = Non-Cached
  • Slow Networks = Cached*, regardless of laptop/desktop

*Note: Folders with large quantities of items may cause a slow response, expecially when switching into and out of the folders.

On slow networks, disable the "To-Do Bar" from the main view (View > To-Do Bar > Off)

Outlook Anywhere enabled (RPC on slow networks)
