Update your operating system
VUIT is composed of various avenues of support. Here are just three of the places designed to help you:
- The Tech Hub provides assistance with questions or problems connecting to vuNet, the campus data network. Staff will also assist with email clients, web browsers, certain desktop applications and remote access issues.
- Most computer labs are available to all students, free of charge. The labs feature word processing, spreadsheet and instructional software, as well as access to the Internet and other resources. Staff members in the labs are generally familiar with software and can provide assistance on a walk-in basis.
- For additional support for graduate, professional and undergraduate engineering students, Distributed Technology Services are assigned to each specific school. Find yours here.
Undergraduate housing - Apply for housing.
Register for classes – Log-in to YES (Your Enrollment Services) to register for classes.
Brightspace is a Web-based courseware application. Instructors can post course-related information for students and conduct courses in a secure online environment, as well as communicate with class members.
Jean and Alexander Heard Library system provides access to databases, electronic journals and other services.
PeopleFinder serves as an online contact database for the Vanderbilt community.
Access 2 Academic Information lets you access your personal academic record information online. Instructors also have access.
Anchor Link is a Web-based co-curricular management tool that enables you to engage in student organizations and events.
