Tech Hub welcomes students to campus

During the School of Medicine's orientation on July 21, Tech Hub members David McMillan and Taaha Bin Mohsin provided support to more than 100 new School of Medicine students. The Tech Hub assisted customers with connecting their devices to the university's wireless network, adding Vanderbilt email accounts to their mobile devices, and more.

The Tech Hub also welcomed new students during Move-In Weekend and reopened its mobile site in the Sarratt Student Center prior to the first day of classes. Student workers and volunteers from Distributed Technology Services (DTS), the Vanderbilt Managed Desktop Program (VMDP), Relationship Management, Strategy and Business Development, and the Software Store answered questions and helped students and their families connect to the university’s wireless network. Collectively, the Tech Hub assisted nearly 540 students and guests during 2017’s Move-In Weekend.
