SharePoint is a web-based, collaboration platform that integrates with Microsoft Office. It provides document and content management as well as file storage. Microsoft SharePoint is available to Vanderbilt University faculty, staff, and students.

There are no fees for this service. 

Requesting Service

You may create your own SharePoint Team or Communication site by logging in at https://office.com selecting "SharePoint," clicking 'Create site,' then selecting Team site or Communication site and completing the remaining steps.  If you need another type of SharePoint site, such as a classic site, please click here:  SharePoint New Site Collection

SharePoint Online

SharePoint Online is a cloud-based service, hosted by Microsoft, that Vanderbilt university faculty and staff members can use as a secure place to store, organize, share, and access information from any device. This product will function from any web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox.
