Office 365 Alignment
In Office 365, your online identity is composed of three parts: your Primary Email Address, your Skype (Phone) Address, and your Office 365 (Sign In) Address. To provide you with a more consistent experience within Office 365 and to prepare for migrating your Outlook/Exchange mailbox to Office 365, VUIT is aligning users' Skype and O365 addresses to match their Primary Email Address.
Please read through all notes below. Not adhering to the listed steps could result in the loss of your data.
What VUIT needs from you
After your alignment date:
- Begin using your email address to log in to Office 365 (www.office.com)
Sign out of one of your Office clients (like Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) and sign back in.
- View directions
- After your O365 Address is updated, you may be prompted to sign back in to your Office client applications. You will use your email address to sign back in. If the application does not prompt you, or continuously fails to recognize your new address, sign out, close the app, relaunch, and sign back in.
- Click File
- Click Account
- Click Sign Out
- Click Sign In
- Enter your email address and epassword
